What's Fresh...?

It's always great to come across someone really doin' it. Thru a mutual friend I recently met this kid Moruf who is talented across the board. I recently saw him spit at a open mic/poetry event that I DJed (shouts to Midy over at Camelstreet.com) and this kid really tore it down. In addition he's got a blog that can be viewed at streetwearcouture.blogspot.com. Always great to meet people that are positive and trying to move forward! An extremely new and innovated concept, New Era presents the "Change Up" Fitted. The hat gives the wearer the ability to change the design by utilizing Velcro. Pretty cool idea!

Kanye West's "Thank You & You're Welcome"

What's Fresh...?

Kanye West puts his own twist on this "words of wisdom" book titled "Thank You & You're Welcome." Some of the Kanye-isms include:

"To most people, the saying 'to use someone' carries a negative connotation. But I don't see it that way. To 'mis,' 'over' or 'ab'-use someone is negative. To use is necessary. And if you can't be used, you're useless."

I'm sure you can expect a lot of wisdom in this book with a twist of humor that only Kanye could bring to a project like this. The book is now available at wesoldout.com.

"Marty McFly" Nike Hyperdunk

What's Fresh...?

Wednesday July 4th @ 4 PM marks the release of the "Marty McFly" Nike Hyperdunk. The shoe which was inspired by the Back to The Future sneaker that is often rumored to be designed by Nike will be available at Undefeated in Santa Monica. The shoe is accompanied by a t-shirt commemorating Kobe Bryants 2008 MVP season. In addition there is an unannouced special guest that will be in attendance...possibly Kobe himself?
