GTA meets iPhone/iPod Touch
What's Fresh...?
Without much hoopla (which is a real surprise to me) Grand Theft Auto released a game for the iPhone & iPod Touch to the iTunes store on Monday. Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars follows Huang Lee who is attempting to deliver an ancient sword to his Uncle Kenny to ensure his family retains control of the Triad gangs of Liberty City after his father dies. Huang is spoiled & rich kid and obviously expects everything to run smoothly, but his trip does not go exactly as planned. After being robbed and left to die, he will search for honor, riches and revenge in the most dangerous and morally bankrupt city in the world.

As I'm sure you all know, a devastating earthquake has left Haiti in despair. The magnitude 7.0 earthquake (and strong aftershocks) struck o10 miles from Port-au-Prince where over 2 million people faced this catastrophe alone. People across the world have contributed to the Haiti Relief Effort and Play Cloths has linked up with Wyclef Jean to help.
So starting Friday January 15th @ 3pm EST, Play Cloths will release a signature Jack logo t-shirt designed for the Haiti Relief Effort. 100% of proceeds will be donated to Wyclef's Yele Haiti Foundation. In order to send the donation as possible, the Haitian Jack t-shirt will be on sale from Friday January 15th to Friday January 22nd (one week only).

In 2006, 51-year-old celebrity chef Terry Miller won $250,000 on cooking reality show 'Hell's Kitchen,' and named his restaurant after his specialty dish, the "King Prawn Rockafella." Soon after, Jay-Z made claims that the name of Miller's restaurant had people believing that it was associated with his record label.
After a long court battle, the UK court ruled in favor of Miller, granting him the trademark and exclusive rights to use the name.
Jay-Z and Beyonce were recently named Hollywood's richest couple of 2009 by Forbes magazine, but obviously money can't buy you everything.

Usher "Got It Bad"

Usher estimates over $1 million in cash and assets were taken from his vehicle in December of 2009. While parked in front of an AT&T store at the Lenox Square Mall in Atlanta someone broke into Usher's car taking duffle bags, jewelry & most importantly computers containing tons of unreleased music.
Unreleased music by Usher has been hitting the Internet at an alarming rate, since the robbery, leaving Usher concerned with whether his album would be released during the first quarter of the year.
Below is a list of the things Usher reported stolen. Approximately 1.065 Million bucks!

A couple of young gentlemen that I'm often lucky enough to be in the presence of are doing big things as of late.

Haiti Earthquake Relief
What's Fresh...?
The recent earthquake in Haiti has been described as "a natural disaster of unprecedented proportion." It is imperative that people help in any way that they can. Anyone looking to help in relief efforts can text "HAITI" to 90999 to donate $10 to the American Red Cross or make donations through the organization's donation gift catalogue which allows people to pick a charity of their choice to designate their contributions to.
Wyclef's non-profit organization, Yele Haiti Foundation has also set up the ability to text "YELE" to 501501 to make a donation.

Theophilus London - Humdrum Town

So a little over a year ago I was invited by my good friend Emmanuel 'MoCool' Midy to go see this guy Theophilus London. Quite honestly I had no idea who he was.
If you've ever seen Theophilus London perform you'll agree with me that he's quite entertaining in concert. (Perfect Example)
Since then I've downloaded "This Charming Mixtape" which features a real dope track with Solange, a "Jersey/Baltimore Club-esque" track featuring a Whitney Houston sample, and some dope vocals from Jesse Boykins III.
His new video "Humdrum Town" is dope as hell & word on the street is that it will premier on MTVU tomorrow. Congrats!!!

Cuffin' Season

The internet is a crazy place. You never know what you're going to run into. This morning as I should have been getting dressed for work I came across a post on HypeBeast about the Ohio Based "Cuffs Clothing." Pictures & website are pretty much self explanitory. I really can't think of a reason for me to find myself in Chagrin Fall, Ohio but if that day ever comes I will be sure to check this spot out.

Chris Brown's newest video features a cameo from Cassie. Not sure if there were ulterior movtives here on Chris's part...if so I can see what he was trying to do but I'm not sure it was a great move. Either way I feel like he's back on track. Graffiti is a dope album & he continues to put out hits!
